December 10, 2018 06:50 PMHow about a Fujitsu ScanSnap iX500 for scanning directly to Quickbooks 2015 for Mac? I find that my Canon V37 will not.
December 10, 2018 06:50 PMQuickbooks won't recognize my Fujitsu ScanSnap from the Scanner icon in the attachments window. It tries to go to a scanner that is on my network that we don't use for scanning (a 3 in 1 printer, copier, scanner). How do I tell Quickbooks to go to the ScanSnap?
QuickBooks Team December 10, 2018 06:50 PMI'm here to help with getting your Fujitsu ScanSnap to work in QuickBooks.
When installing a new scanner or scanning documents for the first time, you need to set up the QuickBooks Scan Manager for QuickBooks Attached Documents. Please know that you must use a TWAIN compliant scanner with QuickBooks Scan Manager.
You can also run the TWAIN compatibility tool to help identify whether the device is compatible with the QuickBooks check scanning software. Just make sure the scanner appears in the Printers & Faxes section for it to work.
If you need further assistance with the process, you can reach out to our Technical Support Team. They can assist with configuring the setup of your scanner so you'll be able to use in QuickBooks.

December 10, 2018 06:50 PMI have QB Desktop 2017 Are these all compatible with that version?
QuickBooks Team December 10, 2018 06:50 PMGlad to see you here in the Community, robertlosciuto.
When using the QuickBooks Scan Manager feature, you'll need to make sure that you're using a TWAIN-compliant scanner. This is to ensure that you'll be able to attach files to your transactions without encountering any issues.

December 23, 2018 10:27 AMCan any of these handle a big stack of different sized receipts, some in less than perfect condition?
Not applicable December 24, 2018 03:37 AMWe don't have the exact information if these printers can print big stack of different sized receipts. For QuickBooks Desktop, you can print receipts on a short bond paper size (8.5 x 11 inches).
You can try to reach out their support to learn more about their printers specification.
If you need anything else, please let us know. Thank you.
February 06, 2019 07:41 AMIt appears that most of these models of scanners are discontinued models from the Manufacturer. Can we get an updated list?
February 06, 2019 09:51 AMThanks for dropping by the Community and for joining this conversation. Allow me to step in for a moment and share some information about barcode scanners that are compatible with QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
Great news! Any barcode scanner will work with QuickBooks as long as it complies the following formats:
Additionally, you also need to enable the barcode scanning feature on the preferences. This will give you the option to either move your existing barcodes in QBDT into the new Barcode Number field for your items or have QuickBooks create barcodes for items in your list.
1. Go to the Edit menu at the top and pick Preferences on the drop-down.
2. On the left panel, scroll down to Items and Inventory , then go to the Company Preferences tab.
3. Select the Advanced Inventory Settings .
4. Go to Barcodes tab, choose Enable barcode , then Open Barcode Wizard .
5. Decide if you want QuickBooks to create new barcodes for you, then click Next and Finish , then OK on the wizard windows.
6. Choose OK twice to close the Advanced Inventory Settings and the Preferences window.
